Studio Policies

General Studio Policies:

  • Guests are NOT allowed to stay to observe pole classes!
  • Refund Policy: Class passes and packages are non-refundable. We can, under certain circumstances, defer the date and extend the expiration of your package. We can also exchange them for a gift card, workshop, or merchandise.
  • Cancellation policy: Please try and cancel your class 12 hours or more before the start of class. If you have to cancel within the 12 hour limit, please do your best to contact us and let us know, as we will transfer your pass to another class of your choosing so that you don’t lose out! If you don’t contact us, we cannot guarantee that the pass will be put back on your account.
  • Late Policy: late clients that have not contacted the studio ahead of time to let us know you’ll be late will lose their spot in class if they aren’t there in the first 7 minutes, and the spot will go to a waitlisted client if one is present. Please let us know if you’re going to be late and we will save the spot for you. Pole clients, the warmup is very important. If you are going to be more than 5 minutes late, the instructor has the right to not let you attend class, as risk of injury if high. If that happens, your class pass will be returned to you.
  • Waitlist Policy: if a class is full and you sign up for the waitlist, please keep an eye of your email and the app, as we will add you into the class and email you if a space becomes available. You are also welcome to come and wait before class and see if a space opens up.
  • Social Media Policy: we love when you take pictures and videos at our studio, but posting content that contains other clients in the background is strictly prohibited. For everyone’s comfort and privacy, make sure that anyone visible in the background of your photo or video has given permission for you to post it. If we find content posted that violates these rules, we will ask you to remove it with in 24 hours. If you do not, you will be asked not to return. We take privacy very seriously here, especially in Pole classes. The full policy can be viewed on our social media.
  • Injury or Damage Policy: before you attend your first class, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver and agreement, which states that you will use all equipment and exercise all fitness movements as instructed. Our certified instructors will teach you everything safely, ignoring their instruction or misusing studio equipment and property could lead to injury or property damage, which the client would be liable for. The studio is under video surveillance at all times.
  • Annual Membership Cancellation Policy: If you are an annual member, cancelling your yearly membership before the contract is up will require an early cancellation fee of $135 (one months fee).
  • Social Distancing and Mask Policy: please check our social media for updated mask policies, as these are often changing. Please maintain at least 6 feet of social distancing at all times. Our poles and workout stations are set 8 feet apart, our studio is cleaned daily, and our equipment is disinfected between each use.
  • Mutual Respect Policy: Bullying and discriminatory language will not be tolerated at our studio. Respect of your classmates and instructor will be expected at all times, as we will be respectful of you. If you have an issue with something or someone in class, please politely and respectfully bring it up to the instructor or owner, and we will see that problems are solved professionally. Persistent bullying behavior will result in being asked not to return. Kindness goes a long way here.
  • Inquiry and Studio Tour Policy: for inquiries and studio tours, we are open before and after classes, or by appointment only. We will not be able to assist you while we are teaching class. Solicitation is not allowed.

Intro to Pole Policies:

  •
NO TOUCHING, NO TEACHING: when you’re in our Intro classes, the instructor is the only person that is permitted to touch and teach other clients, regardless of your relationship to the person. It’s a safety hazard and a liability to have students trying to do the teacher’s job. Our instructors are certified to teach these skills, so in the interest of everyone’s safety and the quality of our classes, do not touch or teach other clients.

  • SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY: you signed a social media agreement on the first day of class. This means that you agreed to abide by our policy of not posting videos or pictures from class to social media if anyone else is visible in the background or if their reflections are visible in the mirrors. This policy applies even if your social media account it set to private. This policy is non-negotiable. Failure to abide by the social media policy will result in swift removal from all classes with no refund. This one sounds harsh, but that's because we want to stress to you how seriously we take your privacy in our space. You can still post all the amazing things you do, just blur out or put stickers over anyone else visible in the video.
  • LEVEL-UP POLICY: If you’re skilled enough to do tougher tricks and/or if you have mastered all of our Intro skills, it is time to move out of Intro and into our regular leveled classes! Our Intro to Pole classes are designed specifically to create a safe space for clients who are beginning their pole journeys. It is OK to repeat the Intros as many times as needed, and even to ask for slight progressions, but it is not OK to ask your instructor to deviate from the class plan by requesting options that fall outside the scope of an Intro class. (For those of you who have missed our Intro 2.0 programming, it will be returning in April!!!) Our instructors work hard to design a safe and welcoming class plan for beginner polers that help people feel successful in this space. You will be provided a range of progressions and regressions during Intro, and if those are no longer serving your needs, it is time to join the level 1 classes and progress your skills! Hooray!
  •
WAITLIST AND MAKEUP POLICY: We do not do makeup classes for missed Intro to Pole sessions, please ensure that you can make it to all 3, or accept that on or more of the passes will be forfeit. We can ensure that a pole will be available up to 7 minutes into class. After 7 minutes, it is fair game for a waitlisted person to claim the pole for the duration of that class. It is dangerous to have clients show up and jump on the pole without a proper warm-up. Poles are limited, and you claim a spot when you sign up for class, so refunds are not given for no-shows or late-cancels.
  • RESPECT POLICY: please don’t carry on a conversation while your instructor is teaching. It seems like common sense, but unfortunately it’s a consistent problem and therefore has been added to this policy list. People are in class to learn, and they need to be able to hear the instructor. Do not come to class inebriated. Do not body slam the poles. Do not jump into tricks—Jumping into tricks results in injuries. We don’t want you injured. We want you happy and healthy and on your way to enjoying an amazing injury-free pole journey!
  • INTO TO POLE DEFERRMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY: please contact us at least 5 days before the class begins if you need to defer to a later month. Deferment requests with less notice cannot be guaranteed to be approved, as it may not give us ample time to refill your spot. If you cannot attend at all, you can transfer the pass to someone else, or exchange it for regular class passes. Refund will no be given. Contact us if you have extenuating circumstances.

Cool? Cool. 😎

**when you enter our studio or purchase a class pass, package, or membership with us, you are agreeing to abide by all of these policies stated above. Policies are subject to change at our discretion.
