We are beyond excited to bring you with us tonight to experience the hard work and dedication that the folks here have put into their performances. The past few months have felt electric as everyone has been pouring sweat and creativity into the pieces of art that will be displayed here this evening. Before we begin, let's go over a bit of Pole Show etiquette:

Previously on Little Thots on the Prairie:
Chapter One: Oregon Trail, Bitch:
Laura and Sandy said farewell to their son Timmy (only 5 spaces in the wagon) and loaded up their remaining 3 children. With hope in their eyes and the promise of a better life, they started their journey down the Oregon Trail. The journey was going well but unfortunately tragedy would fall upon the Little Thots repeatedly, starting first at the Kansas City River Crossing. Their wagon tipped over as they tried to ford the river and their only daughter, Sarah, drowned. Continuing forward, they eventually made it to Fort Kearny where, just as the snow started to fall, their eldest son Jordan went and broke his leg for no fucking reason and perished. Soon after, their only remaining child Johnny, came down with a fever and ultimately died after contracting dysentery.
With their hope crumbling and supplies dwindling, Laura and Sandy continued towards Oregon until they reached the Blue Mountains, where a series of unfortunate ailments came down on Laura. Between the cholera, the broken arm, and measles Laura succumbed to exhaustion. Sandy managed to muster the strength to make it the rest of the way to Oregon, overwhelmingly haunted by the weight of grief.
Chapter Two: Little Thoughts Resurrections:
Consumed by darkness, bitterness, and regret, Sandy does the unthinkable. Alone in this new
and strange land, Sandy calls upon dark forces to resurrect first their fallen children, and then
exchanging their young souls for the ultimate prize…the resurrection of their beloved Laura (we never claimed to be good parents). Unfortunately, this dark exchange costs Sandy not only the children’s souls, but also his own. Can the newly resurrected Laura make it into the spirit realm to free their husband’s spirit from the clutches of evil? Maybe.
Chapter 3: Repercussions
Spoiler alert, yeah bitch, she did it. Laura showed up at that spirit realm and was like “yo, nuh-uh, that’s my man-wife, give it back”. Anyway, it all worked out, and now the Little Thots would like to take these next few moments with you to reflect on their long immortal lives….i mean very normal mortal and human lives that have nothing to do with being banished from a planet called Thot-topia. Zip it and enjoy Chapter Four: Little Thots: Remember

Nostalgia is a dirty liar. Unless of course you’re Russian nobility fleeing the communist revolution. In that case, instead of drinking to forget, you might want to drink to remember the land of yesterday.

Like many others, Sierra fell into the world on Animal Crossing New Horizons to cope with existing in the year 2020. Tonight, she will be paying homage to Isabelle—who makes sure everything is running smoothly, as long as you pay your loans on time—and a fellow Animal Crossing lover, Mr. Pain.

Kayla or Pica and her father have always had a love of things people hate - in this case, Nickelback. Her nostalgia piece is a throw back to the songs her dad and her bonded over when she was too young to catch that it was swearing throughout half of them. Thanks dad for coming to see it.
Y'all remember the obsessive Kanker sisters from the trailer park in Ed Edd and Eddy? This is Marie Kanker grown up, and still obsessive.
@pinklemonadecowboy
This band introduced me to a new genre of music that has shaped me into the person I am today and will always have a special place in my heart. It was not a phase.
@alyssanepereny
She can’t believe she’s saying this but Stephanie has started to say they just don’t make songs like they used to. Let’s take it back to halter tops and low rise jeans. Back when music made you shake it like a salt shaker and when laffy taffy was more than just the candy. Tonight let’s take it to the windows and the walls…. You probably know the rest…

In 2017, I was 14 years old, a freshman in high school. The bullying of middle school was behind me and I was searching for my purpose when I found pole dancing. It was love at first sight. I lived too far from the studio, so I had to find another way to express this love. That’s when I found silks, and I never looked back.
No matter what

No matter what happens, aerial and pole dancing have always been there for me. It was there when I graduated high school and when I moved into my college dorm. It was there when I got hit by a car and it was there when I joined the circus. Imposter syndrome hit me from 19 to 21 years old. My confidence in my body was shaken. I turned 22 yesterday. It’s been 6 years of love. 6 years of moving, choreographing and improvising. I've learned that happiness comes from the inside. I’m so proud of me. Now, at 22, I need to decide to be happy.

Atomic is deliriously happy to be back on the stage. This year, she celebrates her 10th pole anniversary and is a proud studio owner and competition coach. She wants to thank all of the wonderfully weird people who have helped her develop her style over the years. Please enjoy
"Wonderful Nothing", an ode to the weirdest and wildest parts of her pole journey.

Is there any better feeling than stumbling upon an old playlist or CD and re-living throwbacks of the past? For Emily’s performance she combines her two favorite things - pole and 90s/early 2000s music. So grab your scrunchies and slap bracelets and get ready to be transported back a few decades!
Our next two performers have created something special for you this evening: a doubles routine! But not just any doubles routine…prepare to be impressed by the creativity and dedication these two have poured into this!
Our next performer is headed to his first competition in two weeks, and tonight we have the honor of experiencing his planned performance. Give it up for Lukas!!!!
Our next performer is taking this piece to the Great Lakes competition stage in Chicago in 2 weeks! Let’s cheer her on!

Meet Whitney, she has been poling and avid member of the Body of Bloomington community since early 2021. This is her first showcase and her piece tells a story of youthful love before feeling the sting of betrayal and the idea of revenge.
